There are only four ingredients in this sleep spray recipe.
- Witch Hazel
A natural astringent, Witch Hazel is most known for being a good cleanser and toner for the skin. Adding witch hazel to aromatherapy sprays helps blend the essential oils with water. - Lavender Essential Oil
Mantra Lavender Essential oil is a premium oil made from quality lavender sourced from Bulgaria and collected via steam distillation. - Dried Lavender Flowers
Easy to find in the summer time… if you’re not growing it yourself, surely a neighbour is. Or stop at your local health store to pick some up. - Distilled Water
My preference is to use distilled water in my sprays as it’s purer than what comes out of the tap, but it’s not necessary. You can use regular water to make lavender sleep spray. - 4 oz Spray Bottle
You can find spray bottles online or in a health store or dollar store.
Method
Remove the bottles spray cap and insert a small funnel. Next, pour the witch hazel and mantra lavender essential oil into the bottle. Now add the dried lavender flower and fill the rest of the bottle with distilled or regular water. Shake it well to mix all of the ingredients and now you now how to make lavender sleep spray! While you’re at it, make up a few for your friends and family. They will so appreciate it! Dress up the bottle with a cool label and tie a piece of natural ribbon on and maybe stick a piece of lavender under the ribbon. A great little gift idea.
